Cricket Betting on Playinmatch

Cricket is the heart of the Playinmatch sportsbook. Every format gets full market coverage, from five-day Tests to three-hour T20s. You can bet before the toss or while the match runs live.

Two modes are available. Exchange lets you back a team or lay against it at market prices. Sportsbook gives fixed odds with a single tap. Both settle on the official result declared by the governing body.

What You Can Bet On

The cricket board covers every level of the game. Markets open days before the first ball and stay active until the final over.

Global Cricket

International Cricket

Every bilateral series between major nations carries full markets. Match winner, series winner, top batsman, top bowler, and total runs lines open as soon as the squads are announced.

ICC events like the T20 World Cup and ODI World Cup get expanded coverage. Outright winner markets run months ahead of the tournament. In-Play markets open the moment the first ball is bowled.

Bilateral Series T20 World Cup ODI World Cup
Premier League

Indian Premier League (IPL)

The IPL gets the deepest market list on the platform. Every match opens with hundreds of lines, from match winner to total sixes, top batsman, and method of dismissal.

Session betting runs through each innings. You can bet on the runs scored in a specific block of overs while the match is live. Odds update after every ball.

Beyond the IPL, the board covers the Big Bash League, Pakistan Super League, Caribbean Premier League, and The Hundred. Each league gets the same market depth as domestic Indian cricket.

Longer formats carry different markets. Session lines, day-by-day totals, and draw/win odds suit users who prefer slower-moving bets. Markets stay open across all five days of a Test.

Simulated Cricket

Simulated Real League (SRL)

Simulated Fixtures Match Odds Session Lines

When live cricket is off-season, SRL fixtures fill the board. These are simulated matches built on real team data and historical performance. Markets work exactly like live cricket, with match odds, totals, and session lines.

SRL runs round the clock. Fixtures like Multan Sultans SRL vs Islamabad United SRL or Australia SRL vs West Indies SRL keep the cricket markets active even when no real match is scheduled.

Popular Cricket Markets

Every cricket match opens with a standard set of markets. Deeper lines appear closer to the start time.

  • Match Winner: Back or lay the team you think will win.
  • Toss Winner: A simple market that settles before the match begins.
  • Total Runs: Bet on whether the combined score goes over or under a set line.
  • Top Batsman: Pick the player who scores the most runs in the innings.
  • Top Bowler: Pick the player who takes the most wickets.
  • Method of Dismissal: Bet on how the next wicket falls during live play.
  • Session Runs: Bet on the runs scored in a specific block of overs.
  • Total Sixes: Over or under a set number of sixes in the match.

How Cricket Odds Work on Playinmatch

The cricket board uses a standard 1-X-2 layout for exchange mode. Column 1 is the home team, X is the tie or draw, and column 2 is the away team.

Blue boxes show back prices. Pink boxes show lay prices. Each box displays the odds and the money available at that price. Higher liquidity means your bet matches faster.

In sportsbook mode, the layout simplifies to fixed odds. Tap the price, enter your stake, and confirm. The odds shown are the odds you get unless the market moves before confirmation.

Live Cricket Betting

In-Play cricket is where the action happens. Odds shift after every ball, every wicket, and every boundary. Markets pause briefly during key moments like wickets or DRS reviews, then reopen with updated prices.

Live markets include:

  • Next over runs
  • Next wicket method
  • Current session total
  • Match winner (live)
  • Total runs in innings

The Today and Tomorrow tabs let you plan ahead. Mark the matches you want and come back when they go live.

  • If a match is abandoned without a result, match winner bets are void unless the competition rules declare a winner.
  • Toss markets settle on the official toss outcome, regardless of what happens later in the match.
  • SRL matches settle on the generated result for that fixture.
  • Minimum stake is ₹10 across all cricket markets.

Cricket Betting FAQs

01 Can I bet on cricket before the match starts?

Yes. Pre-match markets open as soon as the fixture is confirmed. Most lines appear days before the first ball.

02 What is SRL cricket?

SRL stands for Simulated Real League. These are computer-generated matches built on real team stats. They run when live cricket is unavailable and settle on the simulated result.

03 How do back and lay bets work in cricket?

Backing means you bet on a team to win. Laying means you bet against them. If you lay a team, you win if they lose or the match ends in a tie, depending on the market.

04 Are live cricket odds the same as pre-match odds?

No. Live odds move with the match. A wicket, a boundary, or a change in run rate shifts the prices instantly.

05 Which cricket tournaments have the most markets?

The IPL leads with hundreds of markets per match. ICC World Cups and major bilateral series follow close behind.

06 Can I cash out a live cricket bet?

Where cash-out is available, the button appears on your open bet. The value updates live with the match situation.

07 Do you cover women's cricket?

Yes. The Women's Premier League (WPL) and international women's fixtures carry the same markets as men's cricket.
